Using this website
- You're welcome to browse and share this site. Please don't copy our designs, code, text or images for your own use without permission.
- The concept projects shown are our own work, built to demonstrate what we do; they aren't endorsements from any real company.
- We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but it's provided for general guidance and may change.
- Statistics shown on the site come from the third-party sources credited next to them.
Quotes and projects
- Every project starts with a free call. We then send a written quote setting out the scope, price and timeline.
- Work begins once you've accepted the quote and paid any deposit it specifies. Unless agreed otherwise, we typically take 50% upfront and 50% at launch.
- Build times are estimates and depend on scope and on receiving content and feedback on time.
- Changes outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately before we start them.
Ownership
Once your project is paid for in full, you own the final website design, code and content we created for you, whether or not you take a care plan. Third-party items (such as fonts, plugins or stock images) remain subject to their own licences. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Care plans
Monthly care plans are billed in advance each month and cover the services listed for your plan. Unused hours don't roll over. Notice periods and any minimum term are set out in your agreement.
Hosting after launch
- To keep your website live on our hosting, you need an active care plan: Essential (£49 a month) or above.
- If you choose not to take a care plan, once the project is paid for in full we'll hand over the complete website files and code. From then on, hosting, domains, updates and any further changes are your responsibility, and we don't provide further work or support unless separately agreed.
- If a care plan ends, your site is removed from our hosting at the end of the final paid month and we'll hand over the complete files and code.
Liability
We take care to build reliable, secure websites, but we can't guarantee that any website will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
